Albany Police Charge 24-Year-Old Man with Menacing, Drugs, and Weapons Offenses!

A 24-year-old man from Albany is facing serious charges after a domestic dispute on November 26. Rahzare Williams allegedly got into an argument with a woman at a residence on Walter Street, located near North First Street, just after 9:30 a.m.

During the argument, Williams reportedly threatened the woman, implying he had a gun and could harm her, according to Albany Police.

When officers arrived at the scene, they saw Williams leaving the residence. A search of the home led to the discovery of a loaded handgun. Authorities also found fentanyl in Williams’ possession.

As a result of the incident, Williams was arrested and charged with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
