Clarksville Man Charged for Violating Hunting Laws in Kentucky and Tennessee!
CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – A Clarksville, Tennessee man is facing several charges for breaking hunting laws in both Kentucky and Tennessee, according to Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement.
Officials say game warden Cody Fox and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officer Scott Bauer led an investigation into the man’s activities. They found that he committed multiple violations in both states.
During their investigation, authorities discovered that the man hunted and killed two large deer — a 10-point buck and an 11-point buck — in Christian County, Kentucky.
Officials say he did not follow proper hunting rules and lied about important information required for legal hunting.
The man is also accused of breaking regulations meant to prevent the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), a deadly illness that affects deer populations. This disease is a big concern for wildlife conservation efforts.
Because of these actions, the hunter now faces several charges in both Kentucky and Tennessee.
