Finally! Chick-fil-A Announced Major Beverage Change That Fans Have Been Waiting For
Chick-fil-A fans are getting excited for a big change at the fast food giant, calling it “another reason” to stop by.
Though the concept they’re rolling out isn’t new, its inclusion into the Chick-fil-A menu is, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on the new sweet treats.
On March 17, popular food blogger Snackolator reported that “Chick-fil-A is upping their beverage game in huge ways with new Icedream Spins and Floats.”
The influencer shared an image of the two new offerings, explaining that they “allow you to mix any fountain drink flavor with their Icecream to create either an Icedream Spin (kind of like a soda shake) or an Icedream Float (more traditional float option).”
The new menu item is currently being tested in four markets, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Tampa, but as the foodstagrammer noted, it’s a good sign for fans.
“Yes, some locations have offered Frosted Sodas before, but this is an official test which *could* lead to a nationwide release,” he said.
Fans were thrilled with the news, taking to the comments to declare their joy that Chik-fil-A “finally” did it, as “Wendy’s and Burger King did this years ago.”
Several fans also pointed out that “Utah has been doing this for years! Frosted Coke,” they said, suggesting that soda concoctions are old hat in the state.
Other fans were more focused on the different flavor combinations they could create, with one writing, “I used to do this when I worked there. Dr Pepper is so good blended with ice dream. Its actually really yummy to do it with blue Powerade too.”
