“Out of Control” Woman Supposedly Bite Cop and Attack 10-Year-Old Boy in New Jersey Motel Pool

Authorities reported that an inebriated woman attacked a 10-year-old boy and bit a police officer who was trying to arrest her, turning a pleasant day at the pool into a gloomy one.

According to a news release from the Wildwood Crest Police Department, the woman, named as Fallan Turner, a native of Philadelphia, attacked the youngster in the afternoon of June 17 at a motel in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey.

The Waikiki Oceanfront Inn, as Philadelphia source 6 ABC named the motel, was the scene of an officer response following reports from witnesses that Turner, 43, had gotten into a fight with a child at the pool.

Authorities added that witnesses at the scene characterized her as “out of control” and “highly intoxicated.” According to 6 ABC, a different witness reportedly informed authorities that Turner had been consuming tequila all day.

Turner allegedly “grabbed an unrelated 10-year-old juvenile male, and swung him around in the pool, dunking him underwater” while intoxicated, according to authorities. Additionally, Turner allegedly “jumped on his back and grabbed him inappropriately” as the 10-year-old’s father attempted to step in.

Turner allegedly “became belligerent” and resisted being placed under arrest after cops tried to talk with her.

She “bit an officer’s hand as she resisted his control and pushed the arresting officer in the face,” according to the police, and she remained “extremely uncooperative and combative” throughout the processing.

But according to authorities, no policemen were hurt during the altercation.

Chief Robert Lloyd of Wildwood Crest Police told 6 ABC that “she got upset when she was told that the people didn’t want her involved.” He also said that “she became extremely unruly and did some very inappropriate stuff.”

In addition, Lloyd informed the outlet that while Wildwood Crest is typically a family-friendly area, since the COVID-19 outbreak, the department has noticed an increase in cases similar to Turner’s.

It’s regrettable, he remarked. “When you have contacts with the police, you’re not only ruining your own vacation, but you’re also ruining the vacation of others who are just trying to have fun.”

Three counts of third-degree aggravated assault on law enforcement, two counts of third-degree resisting arrest with force, four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, two counts of harassment, disorderly conduct, and refusal to allow fingerprinting were among the charges brought against Turner, according to the police.

According to jail papers obtained by PEOPLE, she also objected to having her blood taken for the police’s DNA database.

Currently detained at the Cape May County Correctional Facility is Turner. It’s unknown if she has an attorney to speak to her on her behalf.
