California Police Discover Decaying Body in Shed After Dog Drops Human Head on Sidewalk

The dog allegedly dropped a human head on the pavement in California and then went away with it, which led to the discovery of a body that was in the process of rotting by the time it was located in a shed.

According to KMPH, officers from the Fresno Police Department responded to a call from someone who stated that they had seen the dog dropping the skull near Nicholas and Florence Avenues on Thursday morning.

A shack located approximately one block away was where the putrefying body was discovered by the police.

According to the Nypost, the dog is said to have taken the head and brought it away.

Fresno police have stated that the death does not appear to be the result of a homicide; nonetheless, the coroner’s office will be responsible for determining the cause of death.

An attempt to get a statement from the Fresno Police Department was unsuccessful at the time of this writing.
