OKLAHOMA TRIO CHARGED WITH KIDNAPPING AND ATTEMPTED MURDER After Forcing Man to Jump From Bridge

Oklahoma police have arrested three people for allegedly kidnapping a guy and forcing him to jump off a bridge, seriously wounding him.

On Thursday, July 25, Okmulgee Police Department officers responded to the Deep Fork River bridge in Okmulgee County, Okla., after receiving a complaint of a person “jumping into traffic,” according to a statement released last week by the county’s sheriff’s office.

Responding cops discovered the accused victim “badly injured” and in need of immediate medical assistance, according to the statement. Emergency responders took him from the scene.

During their investigation, detectives discovered the man had allegedly been abducted and bound with duct tape before being “forced off the bridge,” according to the statement.

Following interviews with many witnesses, the sheriff’s office arrested Sean Lunney, 31, on the same day, according to online jail records.

According to the sheriff’s statement, authorities made two further arrests after locating a handgun allegedly used in the crime. According to police, after locating the firearm, 18-year-old Brianna Nohmer and 21-year-old Jaysen Lawson were arrested.

According to PEOPLE’s analysis of internet jail records, all three face felony kidnapping charges.

Lawson is also facing felony charges of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to conduct a felony, according to jail records.

According to the records, Nohmer faces an additional felony charge of assault with the intent to murder. Lunney faces further accusations of aggravated assault and pointing a handgun.

Lunney is being held on a $250,000 bond, according to jail records. No bond information was available for Lawson or Nohmer.

Police have not disclosed any information on the suspected victim, his relationship with the suspects, or the purpose for the alleged acts.

It was unclear whether the three accused had entered pleas or hired counsel to speak on their behalf.

The investigation is underway.
