ONE KILLED, THREE INJURED in South Side Chicago Shooting Outside Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp
On Sunday morning, gunfire exploded on the South Side of Chicago, killing one and wounding three more.
At at 3:01 a.m., gunshots broke out between two groups of males outside Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp on the 2100 block of South Canal Street in Chicago, according to the police.
The body of a 39-year-old male was declared at the location. The medical examiner confirmed his identity as Joseph M. Garcia.
A 34-year-old male patient was sent to Stroger Hospital with leg gunshot wounds; he was described as fair.
A guy and a woman, both in their twenties, were shot and taken to Stroger Hospital by themselves. A 27-year-old man suffering from numerous gunshot wounds is in serious condition, while the 21-year-old is described as being in good health.
The shooting’s circumstances are under investigation by Area One investigators. So far, no one has been taken into custody.
