EIGHT INJURED IN NORTH TULSA SHOOTOUT: Authorities Investigate Early Morning Gunfire Incident at East Apache Street

The Tulsa Police Department said that at least eight people suffered injuries in a shootout Sunday morning in north Tulsa.

Police said they responded to a gunfire complaint at 4 a.m. near East Apache Street and M.L.K. Jr Boulevard.

According to authorities, a fight involving numerous persons broke out in front of a big crowd.

According to police, many people pulled out firearms and fired shots in various directions. At least eight people were hurt, although none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Mohammad Islam, the owner of AJ’s, received a call reporting that his store’s alarm had gone off. When he arrived, he claimed police tape was up. “They were all here hanging out in the parking lot and then fired and shot each other,” Islam told reporters. “This door and this door are broken, so I installed plexiglass.” It cost about $1,000.”

Detectives have received some suspect information, but no arrests have been made yet.
