Alabama, Delaware, Maryland, and other states have structured their payment schedules based on last name initials or case numbers. Recipients in some states, like Alabama, will receive payments on different dates throughout the month based on their case number, while Delaware bases its schedule on the first letter of the recipient’s last name. Similarly, Maryland organizes its payments based on the first three letters of the last name.
For instance, Alabama will distribute benefits from September 4 to 23 based on case number sequences. Those whose case numbers end in 60-64 will receive their benefits by September 16. Maryland will send benefits depending on the first three letters of the last name, with recipients receiving funds in their EBT cards throughout the month. Recipients can check their specific payment schedules via the USDA’s website.
Puerto Rico will also distribute benefits, with payments expected to be completed by September 22. The process ensures that all eligible beneficiaries have access to vital food assistance during the month.
