Shocking Crime: 17-Year-Old Boy Is Accused of Raping a Girl at Knifepoint in Yorktown!
The 17-year-old suspect – whose name was withheld due to their age—was taken into custody at his Yorktown residence on Sunday, September 22, following an incident that occurred the previous day, according to a Tuesday, September 24 statement from Yorktown Police.
The agency said that an investigation showed that on Saturday, September 21, the suspect used pretenses to get the victim to come to his house, detained them, and sexually assaulted them while holding a knife to their throat.
Following his Sunday arrest, the adolescent was accused of first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and second-degree threats.
The defendant was placed under custody on a $100,000 cash bond after being charged with these offenses. After failing to provide a bond, he was transferred to a juvenile correctional center.
