A 13-year-old from Albany has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat against the Bethlehem Central School District. T

Police reported that the school received the threat at 2:38 PM, only seven minutes before the scheduled dismissal time.
Following the threat, the school immediately initiated a lockout procedure to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Law enforcement, along with bomb detection K9 units, quickly arrived at the scene and conducted a thorough sweep of the school premises. Fortunately, no bomb was found, and the threat was determined to be unfounded.

The accused was arraigned in court, where the charges were formally presented. After the hearing, he was released into his mother’s custody.
