Breaking News: Adopt a Dog This Sunday at Rochester’s Free “Bark or Treat” Event!

This Sunday, Rochester Animal Services is hosting a special Halloween-themed event called “Bark or Treat,” designed to help dogs find their forever homes.

The event is open to all those looking to adopt a dog and will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Brown Square Park on Verona Street. If all the available dogs are adopted before 3:30, the event will end early.

The best part? The adoption fees are completely waived, so potential adopters won’t have to pay any fees to take home their new furry friend.

This event is a great opportunity for people in Rochester to not only enjoy the Halloween spirit but also give a deserving dog a loving home.

The director of Rochester Animal Services, Staci Papadoplos, expressed her excitement about the event in a recent statement.

She mentioned how happy they are to celebrate their adoptable dogs and the wonderful support they’ve received from the local community.

She also extended gratitude to the event’s sponsors and vendors, whose generous contributions have made the event possible.

The team is hopeful that every dog available at the event will find a new home and family to love.

If you are interested in attending the event, be sure to bring a leash or collar. This will ensure that once you adopt your new dog, you’ll have a safe way to bring them home.

Rochester Animal Services expects to have between 10 and 16 dogs available for adoption on Sunday.
