Breaking News: NYPD Investigates $25K Jewelry Theft by Armed Motorcyclists!

Police are currently searching for two individuals linked to a series of thefts in the Bronx. The New York Police Department (NYPD) is investigating six reported incidents that occurred between October 8 and October 22.

On October 8, two men on a motorcycle confronted a 54-year-old man, allegedly hitting him multiple times in the head. They stole jewelry, including necklaces and a bracelet, valued at approximately $6,350. This incident happened around 2 p.m. in front of 1500 Grand Concourse.

Later, on October 18, two individuals on a motorcycle approached a 38-year-old man and reportedly struck him in the head with a firearm. They took a necklace and rings valued at about $6,600. This incident occurred at 11:17 a.m. in front of 1201 Randall Avenue.

That same day, around 11:30 a.m., the suspects targeted a 31-year-old man. They allegedly displayed a gun and stole a necklace worth around $3,300. This incident took place in front of 1050 River Avenue.

Shortly after, at 11:45 a.m., the two individuals approached a 48-year-old man. They allegedly hit him in the head with a gun and stole a necklace valued at $3,000. This incident occurred in front of 2024 Williamsbridge Road.

On October 22, the suspects continued their spree. They approached a 17-year-old teen at around 11 a.m. in front of 76 East 167th Street. They allegedly displayed a gun and stole two necklaces worth about $2,500. During this incident, a physical fight broke out, and a firearm was fired, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Later that day, at 12:20 p.m., the suspects targeted a 36-year-old man near 1055 Summit Avenue. They displayed a firearm and stole a necklace and bracelet valued at approximately $4,000.

The police have described the suspects as wearing all-black clothing. They are believed to be riding a black motorcycle with green rims. The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspects in hopes of gathering more information from the public.
