Man Accused of Killing 29-Year-Old in Road Rage Fight Appears in Court!

A man accused of fatally stabbing a 29-year-old during a road rage incident in Morris Heights made an appearance in Bronx Criminal Court on Thursday.

The accused, Clemente Boateng, faces charges related to the death of Ronald Gomez Mesa, who died following a confrontation that escalated into violence on July 2.

According to authorities, the fatal altercation occurred on Phelon Place in the Bronx, where a road rage dispute between Boateng and Mesa turned deadly. The victim’s family, present outside the courthouse, expressed their grief and frustration over the ongoing delays in the case.

Mesa’s family members, who have been pushing for a swift resolution, called for justice. Speaking to News 12, Mesa’s sister shared the emotional toll the trial has taken on the family, stating, “To see you face to face, someone that killed your brother.

It’s hard.” Mesa’s mother also expressed her anguish, emphasizing that her son was not involved in criminal activity. “I want justice because my son was not a criminal,” she told reporters.

Boateng is scheduled to return to court next month as the case continues.

The tragic incident has left the family of Ronald Gomez Mesa seeking closure, while Boateng remains in legal proceedings as they await further developments.
