Bronx Tragedy: 51-Year-Old Man Killed in Violent Street Fight!
A 51-year-old man, Juan Boria, was fatally stabbed during a street fight in the Bronx on Saturday evening, police said. The incident occurred near East 149th St. and Third Ave. in the Melrose neighborhood.
Boria was stabbed in the abdomen during the altercation around 7:30 p.m. Medics transported him to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Early Sunday, police arrested 52-year-old Robert Brant from East New York, Brooklyn. Brant faces multiple charges, including murder, manslaughter, and weapon possession.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the reason behind the dispute. However, police revealed Brant’s criminal history, including nine prior arrests related to drug possession, weapons, and robbery.
This tragedy unfolded at a location that has seen violence before. Just two months earlier, another fatal stabbing took place at the nearby E. 149th St.-Third Ave. subway station.
As the investigation continues, the NYPD is urging anyone with information to come forward. Brant remains in police custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
