Breaking: $20k Reward Announced in Samantha Humphrey Investigation!

The reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of 14-year-old Samantha Humphrey has now risen to $20,000, nearly two years after her tragic death.

Samantha, who was last seen in November 2022, was found dead in the Mohawk River near a park in Schenectady, New York, in what authorities have classified as a homicide.

In a recent update on a GoFundMe page dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the case, Samantha’s family announced the increased reward.

The statement, posted Monday, expressed frustration over the lack of justice nearly two years after Samantha’s murder, calling the ongoing delay “two years too long” and noting that “Samantha deserves better.”

As part of their renewed efforts, the family is shifting from billboard campaigns to distributing lawn signs throughout the community to spread awareness even further.

Samantha’s grandfather, Lou, who previously made a significant contribution to the reward fund, has now increased his donation to $15,000.

This, combined with the $5,000 raised through the GoFundMe campaign, brings the total reward to $20,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of her killer.

Samantha’s father, Jeff Humphrey, also took to Facebook to unveil the new lawn sign campaign featuring his daughter’s photo, alongside a call for tips.

The signs urge residents to contact the local District Attorney’s office with any information regarding the case. In his post, Jeff shared details on how individuals can support the campaign by requesting a lawn sign or making a donation to the GoFundMe page.

For those looking to participate, a free lawn sign can be requested at tinyurl.com/SamHReward, and a $10 donation is suggested to support the continued distribution of signs and further contributions to the reward fund.
