65-Year-Old Lake George Man Arrested for Alleged $5,000 Theft from Lowe’s Stores Across New York!

A 65-year-old man from Lake George has been accused of stealing over $5,000 worth of merchandise from several Lowe’s stores across New York.

According to State Police, the man, identified as Leno Gee, targeted Lowe’s locations in Colonie, Halfmoon, Queensbury, and Wilton. The alleged thefts occurred between August and October of this year.

The situation came to light when Lowe’s reported the incidents to State Police on November 5. Following an investigation, Gee was arrested on Wednesday, November 13.

He now faces multiple charges, including grand larceny and nine counts of petit larceny. After being arraigned in Wilton Town Court, Gee was sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.

Authorities have confirmed that this isn’t Gee’s first run-in with the law. Records show he has a history of criminal activity, including a conviction for robbery in 1985, which led to a prison sentence of 16 to 33 years.

Gee was released from incarceration in 2013. This recent case adds to his history of legal troubles, raising concerns about repeat offenses.
