14-Year-Old NYC Boy Stabbed in Broad Daylight During Fight Outside Brooklyn Deli!

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in broad daylight on Thursday during a fight with another teenager outside a Brooklyn deli. The incident, which highlights the disturbing rise in youth violence, occurred just hours before another teen reportedly used a knife to defend himself against a would-be robber in Upper Manhattan, police and sources said.

According to witnesses, the altercation started around 2 p.m. inside Taha Deli and Grill on Flatlands Avenue, near East 81st Street in Canarsie. What began as playful messing around between the two boys quickly escalated. that the older teen, aged 15, was armed with a knife.

Reports indicate that the 14-year-old victim challenged the older teen, saying, “You won’t do anything.” The armed boy responded by saying, “You don’t think I will?” before stabbing the younger boy in the leg.

Emergency services rushed the injured teen to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was treated and listed in stable condition. Meanwhile, the alleged attacker fled the scene and, as of Friday, had not been apprehended.

This incident is part of a worrying trend of violence among young people, leaving communities and authorities increasingly concerned about youth safety and the easy access to weapons. The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to search for the suspect.
