Sheriff: Wilton Man’s Violent Act Targets Victim and Car in Heated Argument!

State Police have recently reported four arrests related to impaired driving, including one individual who was over three times the legal alcohol limit.

On November 9, Jonathan X. Bessett, 27, of Cohoes, was taken into custody after reports of an erratic vehicle traveling south on Route 146 in Clifton Park. Police charged Bessett with driving while ability impaired by drugs. Authorities noted that he had a previous DWI conviction within the last decade.

Later that day, around 2:45 p.m., police responded to a single-car crash in the eastbound lane of I-90 in East Greenbush. The driver, identified as Michelle L. Marshall, 41, of Voorheesville, reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.22%, significantly exceeding the legal limit of 0.08%.

On the same day, at approximately 10:15 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Route 67 in Malta for a traffic violation. The driver, Ryan A. Hendel, 47, of Mechanicville, allegedly registered a BAC of 0.26%, which is over three times the legal limit.

According to the sourceIn another incident, State Police stopped a vehicle in Schenectady on November 10 at about 12:30 a.m. for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Thein Tun Huang, 50, of Albany, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Due to a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years, the charge was upgraded to a felony.

Separately, on Sunday, a Wilton man was arrested following an alleged physical altercation involving a cell phone. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Jesse J. Klingbeil, 37, was accused of throwing a cell phone at another person, causing injury. Authorities also reported that Klingbeil intentionally damaged the victim’s windshield.

Klingbeil was charged with assault, aggravated family offense, criminal mischief, and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and released under pretrial services supervision.
