Shocking Incident: Stolen Car Slams Into Police Cruiser After Teen Drivers Don’t Park It!
Two teenagers from Schenectady have been arrested after stealing a car from Crossgates Mall on Saturday, police say. The incident happened just after 4 p.m. when the teenagers took the car without permission.
Guilderland Police quickly located the stolen car on Crossgates Mall Road and attempted to stop it. However, the teens tried to flee from the scene, but in their rush, they forgot to put the car in park.
As a result, the vehicle rolled down the street and crashed into a nearby police cruiser.
The officers swiftly caught the teens, and both are now facing serious charges. These charges include unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property.
After their arrest, the teens were released into the care of their guardians. They are expected to appear in Albany County Court at a later date to face the charges.
