Shocking Attack Outside Sunset Park Gas Station: 2 Men Stabbed in Attempted Robbery!

A violent robbery attempt in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, left two men hospitalized on Tuesday morning. Police are investigating the incident that took place near a Shell gas station located at 36th Street and 5th Avenue at around 9:30 a.m.

According to authorities, a 25-year-old delivery worker was fueling his black moped when two men approached him and demanded the vehicle. When the victim refused to hand over his moped, the suspects stabbed him in the arm.

A 34-year-old man, who was nearby, saw the attack and rushed to help the delivery worker. Unfortunately, he was also stabbed in the back and left thigh during the incident.

Witnesses quickly called for help, and emergency responders arrived at the scene. Both victims were transported to the hospital but are expected to recover from their injuries.

The suspects, described as two men in their 20s wearing black masks, black sweaters, and jeans, fled the scene on a red moped heading west on 36th Street.

The gas station employee, Md Afsur, expressed his concern about the violent act, especially because the Shell station is located right across from PS 958, an elementary school. “I feel very sad, this is a big problem,” he said.

So far, no arrests have been made, and the police are continuing their investigation into the attack. The community is in shock over the brazen violence, which occurred during the morning hours in a busy part of the neighborhood.
