2nd suspect taken into custody in LAX road rage altercation that left an innocent woman unconscious

The second of two males who are reportedly responsible for a road rage incident at LAX that left an innocent woman unconscious has been located and taken into custody by Los Angeles police.

Jasan Givens, Sr., 38, was taken into custody, the LAPD stated on Friday. He was apprehended without incident at around 10 a.m. on Friday, in the vicinity of Western and West Florence avenues. Givens was placed on bond for $50,000 after being charged with criminal violence.

Before the beginning of this week, the other individual who is suspected of being involved in the incident turned himself in.

The brawl that took place on May 31 was captured on surveillance camera.

During the altercation, one of the males chases after the other as they approach the curbside check-in area. The woman who was checking in her bags is knocked over from the impact of their collision with her. It seemed as though she crashed her head into the ground.

“The two individuals slammed into the elderly woman, causing her to fall to the ground knocking her unconscious,” according to law enforcement.

At the same time as the victim was lying unconscious next to them, both suspects continued to fight on the ground outside.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but she has since been released from the facility. According to the police, the woman is making progress and appears to be in a positive frame of mind.

On Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that the second man involved in the altercation, who was shown in the video without a shirt, turned himself in. A charge of criminal battery has been brought against both of the suspects.
