Sweeper, who was adopted from Ruff House Rescue in New York when he was just one year old, now 11, had a delicious meal to mark the occasion.

“He was really the first dog of the group, so he holds a really special place in our hearts,” Sophie said. “And my friend realized she was going to be gone for his anniversary, so she asked if we could take him out for a treat.”
The group chose Fred’s, a cozy dog-friendly spot that has a reputation for treating its furry guests well.
Not only did Sweeper get to enjoy parts of everyone’s cheeseburgers, but he also indulged in some fries and even scored a slice of bacon from someone else’s plate.
