A 21-year-old man from Albany was arrested on Tuesday after he led police on a dangerous chase and crashed into several vehicles, including a CDTA bus.

The trouble started when a police officer from Watervliet noticed a vehicle with stolen license plates.

The officer attempted to pull the car over, and it seemed like the driver was going to comply. However, the driver suddenly sped off, driving recklessly.

The police decided to stop the chase for safety reasons. Even though the police stopped following the car, the driver continued into Troy.

Eventually, he crashed into several occupied vehicles, which included a CDTA bus, and came to a halt at the intersection of Federal Street and 6th Avenue in Troy.

Fortunately, investigators reported that no one was injured in this incident. The suspect now faces multiple charges, but his name has not been released to the public.
