$2M Bail for Hemet Resident Accused of Murdering Homeless Man!

A significant update has emerged in a Long Beach homicide case involving a local homeless man. Kendell Williams, 36, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body on October 22 in the 800 block of Alamitos Avenue.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested 55-year-old Al Gene Fisher of Hemet on November 15, linking him to the murder, as confirmed by the Long Beach Police Department.

First responders, including Long Beach Police officers and Fire Department personnel, arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but Williams was pronounced dead at the location.

Fisher was apprehended in Long Beach and was found with a firearm at the time of his arrest. Police officials have reported that Fisher is facing charges of murder and possession of a firearm by an ex-felon, with his bail set at $2 million.

The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are urging potential witnesses to come forward with any information they may have about the incident.
