Breaking News: Two Men Arrested After Violent Shooting at San Jose Car Show!

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured two people during an unsanctioned car show in South San Jose last July, police confirmed. The incident occurred on the night of July 20 near Monterey Road and Southside Drive.

The shooting left two men injured, with one of the victims suffering life-threatening injuries. According to the police, the trouble began when a fight broke out between two groups at the car show.

During the altercation, one of the suspects, who was not directly involved in the fight, pulled out a handgun and fired shots into the air. He then shot one of the men involved in the fight.

The San Jose Police Department conducted a preliminary investigation that helped them identify the two main suspects in the case. Arrest warrants were issued for both individuals.

On August 28, police arrested the primary suspect, 26-year-old Damian Flores of Union City, in San Jose. A second suspect, 27-year-old Nicholas Perez, was later arrested in Campbell. Flores faces charges of attempted murder, while Perez is charged with being an accessory to attempted murder.

Both suspects are being held in the Santa Clara County Jail without bail. Perez is scheduled to appear in court on September 9.

The police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with more information about the case to contact Detective Gaarde of the department’s Assaults Unit.
