Officials reported that the victim, a 57-year-old traffic enforcement agent, was in uniform and performing his duties when the suspect approached him. The suspect, who was driving an orange BMW, confronted the agent over a summons that had recently been issued to his vehicle.

The verbal confrontation escalated as the suspect became violent, repeatedly striking the agent in the face. After the attack, the suspect fled the scene in the orange BMW, heading to an unknown location.
