Caught on Camera: Bronx Man Breaks Down Door and Enters Apartment!

A man identified as Brian Watts was arrested and faced multiple charges, including burglary, criminal mischief, and possession of a controlled substance, after a dramatic break-in at an apartment in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.

According to reports, the incident occurred in August when Watts, a 44-year-old man, tried to enter an apartment by banging on the door.

When no one responded, he resorted to kicking the door repeatedly until he broke a hole through it. Instead of giving up, Watts crawled through the hole to gain access to the apartment.

The entire act was caught on video, adding to the shock and fear experienced by the apartment’s resident, Cristen.

Cristen, who is 27 years old, was inside her apartment when the break-in happened. She said she was terrified as she had no idea who Watts was or why he was trying to get into her home.

In a state of panic, she locked herself in the bathroom to protect herself while Watts continued to force his way into her space.

Despite his aggressive actions, Watts didn’t harm Cristen, but she could hear him moving around the apartment as she stayed hidden in the bathroom.

During the incident, Cristen called the police, alerting them of the danger she was facing.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found Watts resting on her couch, seemingly calm after the chaotic break-in. He was promptly detained and taken into custody by the police officers.

Watts’ actions left Cristen shaken and disturbed, as she had feared for her life while hiding in the bathroom.

She later shared her thoughts on the terrifying experience, saying, “I really thought in that bathroom, this is my last day on earth. I’m not going to survive this.” The fear and uncertainty of that moment left a lasting impact on her, even though she physically remained unharmed.

The apartment complex has since replaced the damaged door with a new one, but Cristen’s emotional scars from the ordeal remain.

She mentioned that she is now considering moving out of the apartment as soon as she can find another place to live.

The idea of staying in the same apartment after what happened has been unsettling for her, and she hopes to find a safer environment where she can feel secure.

The motives behind Watts’ actions remain unclear, as he had no known connection to the apartment or its occupant.

The lack of explanation only adds to the mystery of why he chose to target Cristen’s home that day.
