Dramatic Arrest in Paterson: 2 Charged with Attempted Murder After Shooting!
In Paterson, New Jersey, a serious incident occurred when a 46-year-old man was shot around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Main and Arch Streets. According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, the suspects in this case are Jose Ortiz, 31, and Yesenia Adorno, 43, both residents of Paterson.
The victim, although injured, survived the attack and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities acted quickly. Ortiz and Adorno were arrested just under two hours later, around 10:15 a.m., near the intersection of North Street and Clinton Street.
Prosecutor Valdes reported that Ortiz was found with an illegal firearm and a high-capacity magazine, leading to multiple charges against him, including attempted murder and weapon-related offenses. Adorno faces a serious charge of first-degree attempted murder.
