East Greenbush Man Arrested After Traffic Stop Uncovers Drugs, Illegal Weapons!

A man from East Greenbush, David Slurff, is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop on Monday evening. The stop took place on Loudon Road in Colonie.

Slurff, who is 51 years old, did not have a driver’s license, and his vehicle was neither registered nor insured, according to police reports.

Police also found illegal drugs inside Slurff’s vehicle during the stop. In addition to the drugs, Slurff was carrying an illegal brass knuckle and a brass knife, which are considered weapons. When asked to take a drug test, Slurff refused, police added.

As a result of these actions, Slurff is facing several criminal charges, including criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia. He also has several traffic violations against him.

Slurff has been released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department while the case moves forward.
