Georgia School Shooting: Teen Suspect’s Mug Shot Revealed Amid Aunt’s Claims!

Police have unveiled the mug shot of Colt Gray, the 14-year-old accused in the tragic Georgia school shooting. The photo depicts a young Gray with a blank expression, long dyed hair, and a youthful face.

The first images of Gray, including one from his 2022 yearbook showing him smiling, wearing a red Georgia Bulldogs T-shirt and a thick necklace, surfaced on Thursday. At that time, Gray would have been around 12 or 13 years old.

Gray was arrested on Wednesday shortly after the shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, where he allegedly opened fire, resulting in the deaths of two students and two teachers. Nine others sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

Annie Brown, Gray’s aunt, spoke to the Washington Post and revealed that Gray had been “begging for help” before the incident. She expressed that the teenager had been struggling with mental health issues and felt let down by the adults around him.

Brown, who resides in Florida, mentioned that she had tried to assist Gray from afar, though she did not provide specific details about his mental health challenges. She noted that Gray’s difficult home environment contributed to his struggles.

In January, Brown enrolled Gray at Haymon-Morris Middle School in Barrow County to help him complete the eighth grade after a period of absenteeism. When school resumed on August 1, Gray began ninth grade at Apalachee High School, just over a month before the shooting.
