High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrests: Suspects Nabbed for Larceny in Genesee County!
Two men were arrested after a high-speed chase in Genesee County. The incident happened on Tuesday when police were informed about an alleged theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Batavia.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the theft occurred around 4:21 p.m.
Police said the suspects, Supreme Hines and Eric Ball Jr., attempted to steal a large quantity of merchandise. They left the store and drove off in a Honda Accord.
Deputies quickly responded and tried to stop the car that matched the description. At first, the car stopped at the intersection of State Route 98 and Park Road, but it quickly sped off again.
The pursuit continued onto the New York State Thruway, where the suspects began throwing stolen items out of the car.
The chase eventually moved onto I-490 eastbound. Police from multiple agencies worked together to stop the vehicle and finally arrest the suspects.
Hines and Ball Jr. are now facing several charges. These charges include tampering with physical evidence, attempted grand larceny in the fourth degree, possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, and conspiracy in the sixth degree.

Hines is also charged with fleeing a police officer in the third degree. He received several traffic tickets and was held in court.
Ball, on the other hand, was issued an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in court on November 12.
