Highway Incident: Man Charged for Shooting at Crow from His Car in Cayuta!
A man is facing misdemeanor charges and violations after allegedly shooting at a crow while sitting in his vehicle on a highway in the Town of Cayuta.

According to the DEC, Environmental Conservation Police Officers were called to assist in addressing the situation. Upon their investigation, officers determined that the man had shot at the crow from inside his vehicle while driving along the public highway.

The fines for these offenses are substantial. For misdemeanors, the fines can range from $200 to $1,000 per charge, while violations carry a potential penalty of up to $250 each.
