Los Angeles Father Sentenced to Life Without Parole for Beating Infant Daughter to Death

Los Angeles, CA – A 38-year-old father, later known as Kevln, was sentenced to life in jail without the chance of release after allegedly killing his child last year. Prosecutors say the defendant beat the baby to death.

The medical examiner informed authorities that the baby, AIya, sustained three skull fractures, eight blunt force strikes to her face, and severe brain injuries as a result of her father’s beatings.

According to court records, the father was punished after pleading guilty to first-degree murder and infliction of torture. The inquiry began last year in June when cops responded to an allegation of a critically injured baby. The responding officers noticed that the boy had sustained significant injuries and transported him to the hospital. The baby was pronounced deceased the next day.

During the inquiry, investigators discovered the video of the beating. During an interview with investigators, the father allegedly revealed several beatings of his young daughter. In detailing the final fatal assault, prosecutors claim the dad told them he beat the living daylights out of his baby.

According to court records, the father never sobbed or expressed emotion during an interview with investigators or at the sentencing hearing.

According to District Attorney Kasie, the grief created by this case for everyone who touched it, as well as the family who continues to mourn the life of this precious, innocent infant, pales in contrast to the pain that Alya herself experienced. She seemed so small, weak, and vulnerable. She couldn’t fight back or even admit she was in pain. It is unintelligible.
