Man Pushes Through Door To Milton Rape And Assault Victim, According To Police

Anthony Collins, 42, of Ballston Spa, a resident of Saratoga County, was taken into custody on Saturday, June 8, on suspicion of rape and other offenses.

Sheriff’s officials report that on Friday, June 7, deputies were summoned to a Milton home on Lilith Fair in reference to a reported sexual assault.

Collins forced his way through a door, cutting the victim’s finger, according to investigators, and then forcibly raped them, according to deputies.

The victim’s age and gender were among the other details that were not immediately known.

Collins was taken into custody on accusations of first-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and first-degree rape, a crime. After being charged in Milton Town Court, he was transferred without bond to the Saratoga County jail.

As a result of a conviction for burglary, he was sentenced to time in state prison beginning in 2019, according to the records of the state.
