Murder Mystery Solved: DC Police Nab Suspect in Months-Old Case!

Police have arrested a man linked to a fatal shooting that took place earlier this year. On Friday, authorities announced the capture of 26-year-old James Rice in connection with the death of 32-year-old Thomas Carlos Felder.

The incident occurred on May 1, when officers were called to the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, due to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Felder had been shot. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of first responders, he died from his injuries.

Following the tragic event, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) released surveillance footage in June featuring a person believed to be connected to the case. After months of investigation, Rice was arrested and now faces charges of first-degree murder while armed.

Authorities believe that the crime was premeditated, but they have not disclosed any details regarding how Rice and Felder might have known each other.
