According to abc11.com An investigation is being conducted by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office following the shooting death of a single individual on Thursday evening.
A shooting was reported in the 5400 block of Miranda Drive just before 8:45 p.m., and deputies arrived to the scene after receiving these calls. A man who was unresponsive and had gunshot wounds was discovered by deputies when they arrived at the scene.
The man was identified as Duane Quarles Jr., 33 years old, from Plainfield, New Jersey, according to the sheriff’s office, which released the information on Sunday, December 24. Officers stated that he was declared dead at the site.
