The 47-year-old man from Brant Lake was initially arrested on August 14 for unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, only to be charged with aggravated DWI the following day when he drove to the police barracks with a blood alcohol content (BAC) over three times the legal limit.
The trouble started when the New York State Police received a complaint from a resident of Saratoga County, alleging that intimate images of them had been shared without their knowledge or consent.
Following an investigation, the man was arrested for the unlawful dissemination of these images. However, due to an undisclosed medical issue, the suspect could not be fully processed at the time of his arrest.
Instead of lying low after this initial brush with the law, the suspect made the questionable decision to drive to the police barracks the very next day. When he arrived, troopers noticed signs of intoxication and conducted a test that revealed his BAC was over three times the state’s legal limit of 0.08%. The man was promptly arrested again, this time for aggravated DWI.
