NYPD Investigates Subway Robbery: Suspect Steals $300, Phone, and Wallet from Woman!
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a robbery that took place at the 74th Street Subway Station in Queens.
On Sunday evening, around 7:00 p.m., a 50-year-old woman was on the escalator at the station when an unknown female suspect approached her. The suspect quickly stole several items from the woman’s backpack, including her cellphone, wallet, credit card, and $300 in cash. After the robbery, the suspect fled the scene by boarding a northbound “E” train.
Thankfully, the victim was not harmed during the incident. However, the NYPD is determined to catch the suspect and has released images of her to the public. The police are encouraging anyone who might have information about this incident or the suspect’s identity to come forward.
In a separate case, the NYPD is also seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals connected to a string of burglaries in the 63rd Precinct in Brooklyn. The first of these incidents occurred on Saturday, July 27, at around 3:40 a.m. Two unidentified individuals broke into a restaurant near East 58th Street and Avenue T.

Once inside, they stole $100 in cash, two iPads, and a printer before quickly fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this burglary. The NYPD continues to investigate both cases and is working to gather more information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects involved.
