NYS Fair Turns Violent: 15-Year-Old Arrested After Stabbings!

On the night of August 24, 2024, a fight broke out at the New York State Fairgrounds, leading to two women being stabbed. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. and drew a response from the New York State Police.

According to the authorities, one of the victims suffered a stab wound to her shoulder and was promptly taken to Upstate Hospital. She is reported to be in stable condition.

The second victim also received a stab wound during the altercation. She was transported to Crouse Hospital by a private vehicle, where she was treated and subsequently released.

In connection with the incident, a 15-year-old girl has been arrested. She faces serious charges, including assault in the second degree, a Class D felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor. The police are continuing their investigation into the fight that led to this violent confrontation at the fair.
