Rebecca Grossman, a socialite, hit and killed two boys, and her mother is shocked by the short sentence

Rebecca Grossman’s latest sentence has disappointed the mother of two boys who were hit by the socialite and killed.

Grossman was given a 15-year to life term on Monday in prison for the 2020 hit-and-run deaths of Mark Iskander and Jacob.

The maximum punishment, which was more than twice what she got, was what the prosecutors had requested.

Nancy Iskander, the boys’ mother, experienced previous hurts when she read the unexpected sentence.

Iskander remarked, “It was the hardest day of the entire trial.” “The level of pain on Monday is almost identical to that of September 29, 2020,” the speaker said.

Iskander told KTLA’s Sandra Mitchell during an interview at the family home on Wednesday that the judge’s punishment was insufficiently harsh and did not adequately honor the lives of both of her boys.

Iskander said, “He counted them both as one.” I swear, there were two of them. There were two of them.

The 60-year-old socialite was found guilty in February on one count of hit-and-run driving that resulted in death, two counts of second-degree murder, and one act of vehicular manslaughter.

It could take her as little as nine years to be eligible for parole.

“About that, all I can say is that I hope she has nine years to alter her heart. Iskander remarked, “I’m not sure.”

Over the course of a four-year legal battle, Grossman has never acknowledged that he was at fault for running down Mark, age 11, and Jacob, age 8.

Despite all of the pain and heartache, Iskander claims to still adore the person who completely changed her life.

She remarked, “I love her, I love her family, I love her kids, she’s a human being, and I serve a God who teaches me to love.”

Iskander, a well-known plastic surgeon’s wife and co-founder of the Grossman Burn Foundation, claims that the mother who killed her sons has offered to erect a building next to her husband’s burn hospital and name it in their honor.

According to Nancy, she is not open to considering that.

Iskander remarked, “That is not something I would accept from her at all.” She is unable to pay tribute to their memory. I apologize, but I am unable to permit.

Nancy believes that the Iskander family’s foundation, which they established on their own, would serve as a suitable remembrance of Jacob and Mark and do some credit to their memories.

“I wonder if they are proud of me every day. Are they proud of me and gazing down on me? Or not? I can’t ask them, and it’s so crucial,” she remarked.
