Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man for Violating Protection Order!

A 54-year-old homeless man, David E. Greenwood, is facing charges for breaking an order of protection. The incident took place on October 12 at approximately 8:30 p.m. when sheriff’s deputies responded to a harassment complaint at a residence on Galway Road in Milton.

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Greenwood was charged with aggravated criminal contempt and criminal contempt.

These charges were escalated to felonies due to a previous conviction for violating a similar protection order within the past five years.

Following his arrest, Greenwood was arraigned at Milton Town Court and subsequently detained at Saratoga County Jail.
