Schenectady Man Charged After Police Seize 109 Drug Packages in Albany!

A Schenectady man was arrested on drug possession charges during a narcotics investigation conducted by the Albany County Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort. The suspect, identified as 47-year-old Tavio Fredericks, now faces multiple legal charges.

The arrest occurred on Tuesday around 11:29 a.m. near Central Avenue and Lexington Avenue in Albany. Authorities were conducting a narcotics trafficking investigation when Fredericks was reportedly found with a significant amount of drugs in his possession. According to the police, Fredericks had 109 individual packages containing cocaine and fentanyl.
