Shocking Bronx Shooting: 7 Taken into Custody After Man Found Shot in Apartment Hallway!

A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in a hallway of a Bronx apartment building. The police took seven people into custody hours after the incident.

Police are still looking for more suspects in and around the area. The shooting happened late Wednesday night in the hallway of the Saint Mary’s Houses on Westchester Avenue. It was just after 8:30 p.m. when the man got into a fight with at least four other men.

During the fight, someone fired shots, and the man was hit in the upper right shoulder. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Detectives are still trying to figure out why the fight and shooting happened. They found money lying on the hallway floor and are investigating whether the dispute might have started as a robbery.

A few hours after the shooting, specialized police units arrived at the apartment building. They went into several apartments and took seven people into custody. They also found a gun at the scene.
