Shocking! Brooklyn Man Robbed and Stabbed in Broad Daylight—Police Seek Suspect!
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed and stabbed another man sitting in his car in Brooklyn earlier this month. Authorities have released surveillance photos of the suspect to assist in their investigation.
The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when a 45-year-old man was sitting in his car across from 380 Jefferson St. near Wyckoff Avenue in Bushwick, according to police.
The suspect approached the car, opened the back, and grabbed the victim’s backpack. When the victim confronted him, the situation escalated into an argument.
During the altercation, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the torso. He then fled the scene, heading northbound on Jefferson Avenue.
The injured man was later taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue by private transportation. Officials report that he is in stable condition.
Police described the suspect as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, a black cap, red sneakers, and carrying a backpack at the time of the attack, based on the surveillance footage.
