Shocking Crime Spree: Two Men in White Mercedes Allegedly Robbing People Citywide!
Police are actively searching for two men allegedly involved in a string of robberies across the city. According to officials, the suspects, who have been linked to at least six armed robberies, are traveling in a white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
The robberies have occurred in various neighborhoods, from Auburndale in Queens to West Concourse in the Bronx and Gravesend in Brooklyn.
Authorities say the men are targeting watches, wallets, and other valuable items, with the stolen goods ranging from $10,000 to $90,000 in value. Victims have reported being threatened at gunpoint by the suspects during the incidents.
Despite the seriousness of these crimes, no major injuries have been reported in most cases. However, a 63-year-old man was injured on September 22 when he tried to resist the robbers near Bell Boulevard in Bayside. He was punched several times in the face but declined medical attention.
Aside from the armed robberies, the suspects have also allegedly attempted break-ins at private residences. Police say the men tried to break into a home near 150th Street and Third Avenue in Whitestone, Queens, on September 5. When their initial attempt failed, they allegedly threw a rock through the window of the house.
The homeowner, a 30-year-old man, was inside the home at the time. In a similar incident on September 13, they attempted to break into a house near 131st Street and 131st Avenue in South Jamaica but were again unsuccessful and fled the scene.
The suspects’ getaway car, a white Mercedes-Benz sedan, has been a common detail in each robbery. Police describe the car as having tinted windows and a sunroof, making it easier for the robbers to avoid detection.
Investigators are urging anyone with information about these incidents to come forward. They are working on identifying the two suspects and locating the white Mercedes-Benz they’ve been using. Authorities are also warning residents to be cautious, especially in areas where these incidents have taken place.
As the investigation continues, police are stepping up patrols in areas where the suspects have been most active. Residents are advised to keep an eye on their surroundings and report any suspicious activity. The robberies have created concern in the affected neighborhoods, with many residents now feeling uneasy, particularly in the areas targeted by the robbers.
