Shocking Incident: NYC Pizzeria Worker Left in Critical Condition After Dog Attack!

A New York City pizza worker is in critical condition after a violent attack at a Manhattan pizzeria. The incident took place on Monday night at Roma Pizza on Fifth Avenue, located near East 19th Street in the Flatiron District.

According to NBC New York, the situation escalated around 10 p.m. when the worker asked a customer, later identified as 35-year-old Tyshaun Watson, to take his unleashed dog outside. As a coworker at the pizzeria recounted, this request led to a confrontation. Watson reportedly went behind the counter and began assaulting the employee.

The altercation quickly moved outside to the sidewalk on Fifth Avenue. It was there that Watson’s dog, which was not leashed, suddenly attacked the worker, biting him multiple times. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the dog viciously mauling the employee while Watson continued his assault.

“The dog was on him, biting him. After that, [Watson] stomped on him and hit him on his head,” a coworker said. The assault was so severe that the victim lost consciousness.

The coworker added, “[Watson] thought he was dead, which is the only reason he let him go. He then went back inside and sat with his dog, waiting for the police.”
