Shocking Road Rage Incident: Ballston Man Arrested for Pointing Gun!
A Ballston man has been arrested after a road rage incident where a handgun was involved. The individual, Aaron Delano, 25, now faces several gun-related charges.
The incident occurred on August 28 when police were called after a report of a road rage situation involving a firearm. During the investigation, authorities found that Delano had allegedly pointed a handgun at another person in the I-787 area near Colonie.
Law enforcement officials discovered the handgun involved in the incident in Delano’s vehicle. Upon further investigation, multiple firearms and high-capacity magazines were also found inside his home.
On September 10, police arrested Delano at his residence. He was then transported to the state police barracks in Latham, where he was formally charged for his actions during the August 28 incident. Afterward, Delano was arraigned at the Colonie Town Court and was released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
The charges against Delano include:
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree
- Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree
- Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree
- Menacing in the second-degree
Following this, Delano was taken to the state police barracks in Saratoga, where he was processed for additional charges. He later appeared at the Malta Town Court, where he was again released under the supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
