Shocking Theft: Latham Man Steals Over $4,000 from Home Depot!

A man from Latham has been charged with stealing more than $4,000 worth of goods from Home Depot. According to the North Greenbush Police, Christian Bonhotel is facing serious accusations for his actions at the store.

The first incident occurred on October 9, when Bonhotel allegedly took merchandise valued at $1,674.94. Just a few days later, on October 13, he was involved in another theft, this time stealing items worth $1,066.98.

The following week, on October 15, he reportedly stole $1,375.36 worth of goods. Police believe that Bonhotel had help during the first two thefts, working with an accomplice.

In total, Bonhotel has been charged with three counts of grand theft, which is considered a felony. He is also facing two counts of conspiracy in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor charge. After his arraignment, Bonhotel was taken back to Saratoga County Jail, where he will remain without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face these charges.

The police have emphasized that they take such thefts seriously, especially when they involve significant amounts of merchandise. They are continuing to investigate the situation to see if any other individuals were involved in these crimes.
