Shocking Twist: NYC Killer Who Transitioned in Jail Revealed to Have Chainsaw Beheading in Past!
Alex Ray Scott, a 28-year-old trans woman from Oklahoma, was already known for her violent crimes, but new court revelations have exposed a far more gruesome past.
Scott, who was arrested for murdering 64-year-old antiques dealer Kenneth Savinski in his Upper East Side apartment in January 2020, has now admitted to a previous killing involving the brutal beheading of another man with a chainsaw.
The details of the Oklahoma murder came to light during a recent Manhattan Supreme Court hearing, where Scott pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and multiple charges of criminal possession in connection with Savinski’s death.
Scott’s crimes stretch back to her time in Oklahoma, where she was involved in the killing of 63-year-old Robin Skocdopole in Broken Arrow. Scott began transitioning while in jail after her arrest for Savinski’s murder.
Authorities say that Scott met Savinski through a dating app. After meeting up, she brutally attacked Savinski using a decorative plate, a kitchen knife, and “maybe a pen.” Scott, who had no memory of the bloody assault, later turned herself in and told the police, “I think I may have killed someone last night.”
During her arrest, investigators found credit cards belonging to Skocdopole on Scott. This discovery prompted authorities to investigate Skocdopole’s home in Broken Arrow, where they found pools of blood but no signs of Skocdopole.
Investigators later learned that Scott had dismembered Skocdopole with two different kinds of saws, including severing his head. The tools used for the gruesome act were traced back to a local Walmart where Scott had purchased them.
The dismembered remains of Skocdopole were eventually discovered in a nearby creek in May, leading to further incriminating evidence against Scott. Before her disappearance, Scott had rented a room in Skocdopole’s apartment and falsely claimed that Skocdopole had abruptly moved to Dallas. the statement said
During the court hearing, Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Joel Seidemann provided harrowing details of Scott’s past actions, revealing the lengths to which she went to commit these heinous crimes.
Scott, adorned with heavy eyeshadow and false eyelashes in court, recounted using various objects, including a decorative plate, kitchen knife, and possibly a pen, to murder Savinski. Police found Savinski lying face-down in his living room, covered in blood, with a slit throat and multiple stab wounds.
In addition to the murders, Scott also faces charges in Oklahoma for allegedly sexually assaulting a 6-year-old boy, further adding to her criminal history. Prosecutors praised the thoroughness of law enforcement in investigating Scott’s past crimes.
Assistant District Attorney Seidemann, who has over 41 years of experience, noted the exceptional level of diligence shown by the investigators in this case.
As part of a plea deal, Scott will serve a prison sentence of 22 years to life for Savinski’s murder. If released, she will then be transferred to Oklahoma to serve a 45-year sentence for the killing of Skocdopole. Scott is scheduled to return to court on September 26 for the sentencing related to Savinski’s death.
The case highlights the complex and disturbing criminal history of Scott, whose actions have left a trail of destruction across multiple states. The revelations of her past crimes, particularly the beheading with a chainsaw, have added a chilling dimension to an already horrifying story.
